Breakout Sessions

  • We live in an event-driven world and our calendars are crammed. So what if you could create events that impact women's lives (and the kingdom of God) forever? In this session, we will talk about the nuts and bolts of cultivating events for small groups, mid-size ministries, and large communities all while focusing on the intentional ministry of event planning.

  • Don't Forget to Remember - Our world can be a broken and hard place to live at times and we have to fight to find joy and peace. Part of the key to living contentedly is cultivating an "attitude of gratitude." In this session, we will discuss God's encouragement to us through the lens of Joshua 4 and 1 Samuel 7 and talk practically of what it looks like to build these "stones of remembrance" in our lives.

  • Matthew 28 gives all believers the command to be discipled and make disciples but how does that really work? Are we really suppose to be able to read God's Word on our own and teach others how to do the same? YES! And the process is more fulfilling and life-giving than you can imagine. Join us as we see just how sweet it is to learn to study God's Word and then pass it along through the S.U.G.A.R. process.

  • Discipling the next generation doesn’t have to be complicated or intimidating. Let’s learn how God desires to use your story, your time, your gifts, and even your flaws to be an effective disciple-maker. Come discover why the next generation needs you and how you need them.

  • Idolatry isn’t confined to the Old Testament. Not only is it a struggle for us as leaders, but our teens battle it as well. In this session, we’ll discuss the idols teenagers are facing. We’ll discover how to help our teens identify their own idols and how to break free from them while living in the midst of culture.

  • Peace is sought after, desired, a valuable state of mind. Some cultures use their ‘word’ for peace in everyday greetings. Imagine peace of mind during personal sufferings, security challenges, or societal violence. This peace is a consequence of faith in God. Let’s dig into scripture together and let the Holy Spirit can deepen our faith.

  • Conflict is inevitable. There are right ways and wrong ways for conflict to be managed. Without a doubt, quarantine has added to the stress level resulting in more tension that potentially leads to more conflicts. This conference will look at best practices when working towards conflict resolution.

  • If our words are misunderstood, then our intent and preparation is for naught. As leaders, there is much we can learn by looking at the tools Jesus used to be understood by both genders and all generations. This conference will examine His techniques and look at ways in which they can be incorporated into our speaking, teaching, meetings, and writing.

  • From the Letters of Paul to modern day theologians, men and women have been writing about the assembly of the followers of Jesus, the church. Many analogies have been made in describing the church but perhaps none so intimate as “The Bride of Christ.” Those who have written about the Bride of Christ motif reference the anticipation, excitement, deep love, purity, and yes, the submission of the bride to groom. Could there be even more to glean from this motif? If the church, individually and corporately, is to resemble a bride, is it possible, we can extract instructions for being the church from the very passage that describes what one should look for in a bride or be as a bride, Proverbs 31:10-31? Yes, indeed it can.

  • This crazy and uncertain world calls for believers to live bold lives that stand on truth. It is not always easy to know how to do that. Join this session to discover specific principles from Scripture that will give you a firm foundation to be the light that God calls you to be and to lead others to do the same.

  • There is a lost world around us that are not engaging with the local church or its people. God’s Word is clear that we are to reach out to the lost and unchurched around us, but it can be easier said than done. Learn some practical ways to be intentional about loving your neighbor even when they are nothing like you for the sake of the Gospel from a believer’s interactions with a former atheist.

  • God’s Word is real and relevant and applies to our everyday lives. Learn practical ways to be more intentional about teaching Scripture in a way that leads to transformation and not just information transfer.
